Our Area
If you are thinking about becoming a beekeeper and you
live in the area opposite, then please get in touch and join us.
Membership of the association provides the opportunity to attend monthly social events, get advice and support from experienced beekeepers and incorporates general and public liability insurance from the BBKA, as well as Bee Disease Insurance from the BDI Ltd. More general information about insurance can be found here. Membership insurance documents are available to download here also. You will need your membership number and postcode.
The membership period is from 1st January to 31st December but we'd be pleased to welcome you anytime during the year. The annual membership fee is £30.50 and includes:

a monthly magazine,

affiliation to The British Beekeepers' Association (BBKA) which provides representation, help and expert advice at a national level,

public liability insurance cover for up to £10 million and,

Bee Disease Insurance (BDI) cover of the more serious bee brood diseases.

Suffolk Coastal Beekeepers Association is affiliated to Suffolk Beekeepers Association (SKBA). This means that members are able to attend any meetings or events organised by SBKA. It is not possible to join SBKA as an individual member.
