Education

One of the many benefits of becoming a member of scbka is the wealth of knowledge and expertise available to you when you will, inevitably need advice and support.

Keeping bees requires knowledge, both practical and theory and, proficiency. Before committing to obtaining bees and equipment, we strongly recommend that you come along to one of our Taster sessions and our 'Introductory to Beekeeping' course.

Whilst there is much information on social media sites such as YouTube, the value of attending a Taster session and course will benefit you so much more.

We also offer a mentoring service, where you will be partnered with an experienced beekeeper, local to you.

Check out our Taster sessions and Introductory to Beekeeping course for more information and to register your interest.
